It has been confirmed today that *New* NWA FLORIDA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION - Tommy Taylor has suffered a fractured elbow and will be sidelined for 6 to 8 weeks. The injury occurred in the wild and crazy “3 STAGES OF HELL” match at NWA Pro Wrestling Fusion’s 2nd Year Anniversary Bash - VAMANOS  BANG! BANG!

Tommy stated last night that the injury happened at the end of the first fall when the Sheik brought a chair into the ring to split Tommy open as the first fall’s stipulation was “FIRST BLOOD”. After being handed a chair by Fabulous Frank…The Sheik crashed the chair across the back of Tommy Taylor then set it up in the corner to throw Tommy back first into the unforgiving steel. The Sheik accomplished his goal which grounded Taylor hard and fast making him vulnerable for The Sheik to crown him with the steel chair. As Tommy came to and The Sheik was stalking his prey, Tommy’s survival instincts kicked in, which enabled him to duck out of danger. The Sheik took a wild swing, Tommy ducked and when The Sheik turned Tommy met him with a boot to the mid section which knocked the chair out of the former champion’s hands and Tommy instinctively DDT’d the Sheik on the chair, splitting him open immediately. Unfortunately for Tommy, not only did the Sheik’s head hit the steel but Tommy’s elbow did as well instantly fracturing the New Champs elbow on contact.

Tommy Taylor showed what a true champion is all about by going through 2 more stages of hell with the most maniacal man in all of wrestling, The Sheik, with a fractured elbow in the most grueling contest ever seen in NWA Pro Wrestling Fusion. In the end Tommy came out on top. That says a lot about Tommy Taylor’s heart, strength and determination. We wish the champ a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing this amazing competitor back inside a FUSION ring in the very near future!
