Pro Wrestling Fusion returned to action at the Police Athletic League in Fort Pierce, Florida and the following stories were developed on the show:

New NWA North American Champion
The current NWA Florida and NWA Midwest Champion, The Sheik added another title to his ever growing trophy case after defeating the NWA North American Champion El Gran Apolo in a hard hitting main event that saw both men battered and bloodied.  With the help of Fabulous Frank at ringside, the Sheik fought off El Gran Apolo and used his spike to assist him in getting the three count.

The Sheik has had his sights set on the NWA World Heavyweight Title and with a third NWA title around his waist, his prospects for a World Title match increase.  What is next for the Sheik in terms of other titles as well as opponents for his three titles?

Tommy Taylor Continues his Pursuit of The Sheik
After being burned by a fireball from NWA Florida and NWA Midwest Champion The Sheik last year, Tommy Taylor has been asked many times if he intends to return to the ring.  On Saturday night, Taylor had the chance to answer those questions in front of the fans in Fort Pierce and he emphatically stated that despite the Sheik forcing his friend Chris Jones to retire from wrestling, he was not going to retire because of what the Sheik has done to him.

After the Sheik’s victory over El Gran Apolo, Taylor tried to confront the Sheik and after being restrained by security and the Dark City Fight Club, Taylor was able to get to the ring and he started to brawl with the Sheik.  Will Taylor get a shot at the title when Pro Wrestling Fusion returns to the Police Athletic League on April 10th?

NWA Florida Junior Heavyweight Title Picture Gets Interesting
After returning from Japan, NWA Florida Junior Heavyweight Champion Craig Classic defeated two opponents on Saturday night but he was not finished after beating JC Slater and Johnny Vandal.  After TJ Perkins’ victory over Prince Iaukea, TJ suggested that due to his recent winning streak, he should be able to get a title match and he said that he wanted to face Craig Classic for the Junior Heavyweight Title.  Craig came to the ring and attacked Perkins and gave him a tombstone piledriver before leaving.

Will Classic give Perkins his title match or will he continue to avoid Perkins despite Craig’s demand for a challenge from someone in the locker room.

Here are the brief results from the show:
Nick Primo defeats Francisco Ciatso with Amy Vitale and Pete Cannon
Jack Manley defeats Dagon
NWA Florida Junior Heavyweight Champion Craig Classic defeats JC Slater
NWA Florida Junior Heavyweight Champion Craig Classic defeats Johnny Vandal
NWA Florida Tag Team Champions Dark City Fight Club defeat The Heartbreak Express
King Kong Fu defeats Chris Gray
TJ Perkins defeats Prince Iaukea
NWA Florida and NWA Midwest Heavyweight Champion The Sheik with Fabulous Frank defeats NWA North American Champion El Gran Apolo to win the NWA North American Title

Here is what happened on the show:

Match Number One:  Nick Primo defeats Francisco Ciatso with Amy Vitale and Pete Cannon
Ciatso starts off the match in control of things and he shows his younger no respect as he slaps him around while mat wrestling Primo.  Primo uses his athletic advantage and he leap frogs the referee to go after Ciatso.  The referee helps Primo by kicking Ciatso off the ropes on a sunset flip attempt but he can only get a near fall.  Ciatso misses a splash from the turnbuckles and then despite interference by Amy Vitale, Primo gets the three count with a rollup.

Match Number Two:  Jack Manley defeats Dagon
Manley tries to attack Dagon before the bell rings, but Dagon turns around and snarls forcing Manley to flee the ring.  Manley and Dagon go back and forth with each man getting some near falls.  Manley gains control and he tries to get Dagon to tap out to a Triangle choke but Dagon counters.  However, Manley gets the three count with a victory roll.

After the match, Dagon chases Manley to the back.

Match Number Three:  NWA Florida Junior Heavyweight Champion Craig Classic defeats JC Slater to retain the NWA Florida Junior Heavyweight Title
Classic with a kick and chops followed by a slap to Slater’s face.  Slater gets in a few chops but Classic connects with an elbow and forearms for the three count.

After the match, Classic gets on the mic and he wants to know if this is the best in the back.  He demands another challenger.

Match Number Four:  NWA Florida Junior Heavyweight Champion Craig Classic defeats Johnny Vandal to retain the NWA Florida Junior Heavyweight Title
Vandal gets the early advantage on Classic since Classic did not have time to prepare for Vandal.  Classic gets a few near falls after taking control of the match and overpowering Vandal.  Vandal gets one final near fall before Classic finishes him off with a boot to the head followed by the Sliding D.

Before the NWA Florida Tag Title Match, the challengers, the Heartbreak Express come out and Sean Davis tells everyone to show respect for the greatest tag team in Florida.  He also says that we will never see the Dark City Fight Club again after tonight.

Match Number Five:  NWA Florida Tag Team Champions Dark City Fight Club (Jon Davis and Kory Chavis) defeat the Heartbreak Express (Sean and Phil Davis) by count out to retain the NWA Florida Tag Team Titles
The match starts off with both teams brawling and the champions are in control until the challengers poke the champions in the eye.  Sean and Phil work over Chavis while they keep Davis out of the ring.  The Davises continue with the double team maneuvers on Chavis.  Davis is able to recover and he punches Phil from the apron and that allows Chavis to hit an Ace Cutter.  Sean and Phil leave the ring and the referee counts them out.

After the match, the Dark City Fight Club chase the Heartbreak Express to the back and then it is time for an intermission.

Tommy Taylor comes out to be interviewed and he is asked if he will retire like Chris Jones has after what the Sheik did to him.  Taylor says that Chris is a close friend of his and then says that Chris will never wrestle again in Pro Wrestling Fusion because of the Sheik.  Taylor talks about the fireball that the Sheik threw in his face, but he will not retire.

Match Number Six:  King Kong Fu defeats Chris Gray
Fu has some fun with Gray and he turns an attempted test of strength into a dance routine and it frustrates Gray.  Gray is able to get past Fu’s shenanigans and he works on trying to neutralize his larger opponent.  Fu is able to back Gray into the turnbuckles and then he finishes off Gray with a back senton.

Match Number Seven:  TJ Perkins defeats Prince Iaukea
Iaukea tries to intimidate his younger opponent but Perkins stands up to Iaukea and when the pushing starts, Perkins does not back down.  The referee even gets involved and pushes Iaukea down.  Iaukea takes some time on the floor to regroup and that works for Iaukea because he is able to take control of the match as he works on Perkins’ ribs and when the action goes to the floor, Iaukea uses the guardrail to his benefit.  Perkins uses his athletic advantage to fight back and he uses that athleticism to wear down Iaukea enough to put him in the Cloverleaf and Iaukea taps out.

After the match, Perkins gets on the mic and he mentions that he has won two straight matches and since the winners usually get title matches, he wants to challenge Craig Classic for the NWA Florida Junior Heavyweight Title.  Craig comes to the ring and he attacks Perkins and hits a Blue Thunder Driver and Tombstone piledriver.

Match Number Eight:  NWA Florida and NWA Midwest Champion The Sheik defeats NWA North American Champion El Gran Apolo to become the new NWA North American Champion
Sheik tries to attack Apolo before the bell rings, but Apolo is able to fight back and he hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex.  The action moves to the floor and Apolo with a number of chops that echo throughout the building.  The fight moves into the crowd as chairs are used by the wrestlers.  The action returns to the ring and Sheik tries to use illicit means to wear down Apolo.  Apolo fights back and gets a number of near falls.  The referee is knocked out and he does not see Apolo hit a TKO on Sheik and have him down for more than three seconds.  Sheik recovers and he gets the spike and hits Apolo with it.  The referee recovers and makes the three count.

After the match, Tommy Taylor comes out to confront the Sheik but he is held back by the Dark City Fight Club.  Taylor eventually gets his hands on the Sheik but Sheik is able to escape to the back.
