The Truth Behind The Sheik’s Reign of Terror…by Tim Sult

He considers himself to be the most sadistic man in Professional Wrestling, and we would be hard pressed not to agree. He is the current NWA FLORIDA and NWA MIDWEST Heavyweight Champion, a champion who terrorizes wrestling with rule breaking ferocity. He is personally responsible for putting Tommy Taylor out of wrestling by severely burning his face and damaging his eye sight. He recently broke Chris Jones’ neck and put him out of wrestling forever. He has left a bloody trail of broken and beat down bodies all over the world. He is feared, he is hated, he is the most notorious madman in wrestling today. He is THE SHEIK.

(The following interview with The Sheik was completed with the help of a translator. This is the very FIRST interview The Sheik has ever done. Here is the exclusive interview in it’s entirety.)

Q: Thank you for taking the time to do this interview Sheik.
A: …………

Q: Are you always so enthusiastic about interviews?
A: I am very enthusiastic about destroying my opponents while making them suffer and taking their championship gold. I show my enthusiasm inside the wrestling ring.

Q: Well, we were under the impression that you had accepted our invitation because you had something you wanted to say.
A: You want me to say something? I say this: I am the man who blinded and retired Tommy Taylor, the man who crippled and retired Chris Jones. Do you understand that? You are in the presence of the man who is currently the Midwest and Florida Heavyweight Champion. You are talking to the man who has spilled the blood of legends in Puerto Rico, the most notorious island for hardcore wrestling in the world. You are talking to the man who will destroy “El Gran” Apolo and become the NWA North American Heavyweight Champion on January 30, 2010. Praise be to Allah!

Q: It is true that you are the man who has retired Chris Jones, you are also the NWA Midwest and NWA Florida Heavyweight Champion I agree, but from what I am hearing Tommy Taylor is currently trying to get medically cleared by January 30 and wants to get his hands on you in Ft. Pierce, Florida at the next NWA Pro Wrestling Fusion live event.
A: Tommy Taylor can do whatever he feels is right for Tommy Taylor but I will take this opportunity to warn him, Tommy you had better not stick your nose in mine and Apolo’s business on January the 30th or your eyes will not be the only thing I take from you. I have Allah in my corner and if Tommy Taylor tries to challenge that he will end up crippled like Chris Jones. Tommy knows this, everyone knows this, The Sheik will tear him apart. The last time Tommy entered my ring I told him and everyone else I would end his career and my predictions came true. If Tommy Taylor decides to come back to Professional Wrestling and challenge The Sheik once again there will be nothing left of him but a memory of his challenge and the results of my wrath.

Q: Tommy Taylor did gain a victory over The Sheik, then you burned him severely. Why?
A: Do you stand before me and mock me? This is so typical of you American people. So cocky, so funny, so sarcastic. Shall I paint the walls of this room with your blood? Will you still make jokes then? Shall I cripple every one of your heroes? Then will you show me the respect I command, the respect I’ve earned? I don’t want to speak on the Tommy Taylor or Chris Jones situations…They are done. I have destroyed them. I want you to ask The Sheik about “El Gran” Apolo.

Q: I apologize Sheik, I did not mean to upset you. Please tell us about your upcoming title shot against Apolo, How did this come about?
A: I had my sites focused on the NWA World Heavyweight Champion Blue Demon Jr. but he would not sign to wrestle The Sheik. I called him a coward in front of the world and all of your American gossip web sites picked up the story as well as USA Today and many other news sites. Blue Demon Jr. said he did not know The Sheik, he said for The Sheik to send him a resume. The NWA granted the Sheik a title match and Blue Demon Jr. said he can’t make it and cancelled. Every time a new date is put in front of Demon he makes another excuse. He hides in a cave and he won’t come out. I then realized I had to trap this coward rather than come at him man to man because he was frightened of The Sheik. I started to change my immediate focus and decided to put the World Title on the back burner for now. My focus today is to make the NWA, Blue Demon Jr. and the world know that I am the most worthy opponent for this Demon. What everyone needs to understand is that I am coming for the most prestigious prize in all of wrestling - the NWA World Heavyweight Title. I am the Champion of Florida, I am the Champion of the Midwest, I will destroy Apolo and become the Champion of North America which is the number 2 belt in the company behind the World Heavyweight Tile. Then will the Blue Demon Jr. recognize The Sheik? Will Blue Demon Jr. still need a resume from The Sheik? The bottom line is the NWA must take notice when I hold the prestigious North American Heavyweight Title. I am not worried, Blue Demon Jr. will face me in the squared circle because I am on a holy path with Allah guiding me. I will find myself in the ring with the coward Blue Demon Jr. and I will unleash all of the fury of Allah on him for disrespecting The Sheik and not granting me the shot I deserve. He should not have hid from The Sheik and disrespected me because now he will suffer pain worse than 1000 deaths.

Q: I understand your plan but are you looking past “El Gran” Apolo? He is a huge formidable opponent.
A: Of course he is. He would not be the NWA Heavyweight Champion of North America if he wasn’t an incredible talent. He is a great champion. This has nothing to do with Apolo and I don’t look past Apolo, he is just in my way on my journey to the top of the wrestling business. It is unfortunate for Apolo that he is in the position between The Sheik and championship gold. Apolo will suffer like everyone else when put in front of The Sheik. I will show no mercy. Apolo will see before long that The Sheik is meant for greater things and I will slay “El Gran” Apolo on my way to conquering the wrestling world.

Q: Do you think a man as honorable as you could ever win the fans respect?
A: I would never crave the respect of you American fools. I don’t care if you cheer for me. I am on a mission, I am focused on the path laid out for me, I don’t stray from my path, I’m not a Mexican coward or a cocky American. I am a holy man, an Iranian Warrior for Allah, a holy weapon. I will stop at nothing to reach my destination. Allah has mapped out my destiny and in the end you will find me draped in gold on top of my kingdom. This interview in over.
