PRINCE IAUKEA WINS “LUCHACORE” TITLE!
On Saturday November 29th in Fort Pierce, FL. Prince Iaukea made his way into the Ft. Pierce PAL Center with a mission. Not the mission he was hired to do, which was a selfless act of honor presenting Undefeated Luchacore Champion - Chris Jones with the brand new Luchacore Title for his accomplishments in Pro Wrestling Fusion thus far. No, The Prince had his own agenda which he brilliantly set up as an ambush, a smash and grab betrayal of sort.
Prince was all smiles in the dressing room as PWF officials gave him the new title to present while going over how important Chris was to the company and to the fans. They thanked Iaukea for taking the time to give back to the business while showing the younger generation what this is all about. Iaukea said it was his honor to present the title to Chris. The Prince then proceeded to tell everyone he has seen film on Jones and was very impressed with his style and technique when in reality he was plotting his strike.
As Iaukea presented the belt he gradually let everyone know what his real intentions were. He started to run down Chris saying he has seen his matches but was not impressed after he was just telling everyone in the back he was a fan. Chris then asked if he wanted to wrestle him tonight showing what a fearless fighting champion he truly is while his fans roared in approval. Unfortunately that was exactly what Prince Iaukea wanted.
Early on in the match Chris was spot on delivering his signature offense in a flawless matter, with the huge Fusion crowd on his side, only to have Iaukea take a cheap way out to gain an advantage on the young competitor. Now it was time for the Prince to take young Chris to school as he pummeled Jones in a way that no one has ever seen before. But for every shot, every thundering slam or suplex the young lion showed what kind or wrestler he is…the one with the biggest heart! Prince Iaukea could not put Jones away and he tried over and over. Finally Jones regained some sort of control as the audience pumped him full of energy, he gave Iaukea a run for his money sending him rocking and reeling only to have the Prince pin him in a suspicious manner stealing the Luchacore title from Chris Jones. Jones left the ring rejected…wondering what went wrong. He has not been reached for comment but Prince Iaukea has. A video montage of what transpired can be viewed here.
