THE LIFEGUARDS - DARON SMYTHE & WADE KOVERLY
If they can prove themselves in the tough tag team ranks of Pro Wrestling Fusion they will have to be considered as one of the top tag teams in the country.

Respect is earned, not given.
The Lifeguards want to be known and respected as Florida’s top tag team. They have taken on some of the best and well known tag teams in the world of professional wrestling, including The Shane Twins, The Nasty Boys, The Heartbreak Express and The Dynamic Duo. They have competed in many of the top promotions in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and Alabama. Now, they set their sights on dominating the tag team ranks of Pro Wrestling FUSION. “We’ve always been known to enjoy sun, sand and string bikinis,” remarked Wade Koverly, “But it’s time to get down to serious business. We are sick and tired of being considered second or third best tag team in the state of Florida. We know we are the best and we intend to show it.” That is certainly a different perspective from Koverly, whose accomplishments include teaming with now-WWE Superstar D’Lo Brown. “The wrestling world is full of characters,” continued Daron Smythe, picking up where his partner left off, “What you are seeing here isn’t a character. We are real lifeguards. Forget about Batman, forget about Superman, we are real life superheroes. People expect us to be the funny guys. Where did that get us? I will tell you this. We have a very important match coming up with a team called Dark City Fight Club. They are going to see a side of The Lifeguards that hasn’t been seen yet!” “Now Jon Davis and Kory Chavis may be two of the toughest men in the wrestling business today but that doesn’t scare The Lifeguards,” said Koverly,

“On September 6th, I just hope they are prepared for us. Because we are coming to the Fort Pierce PAL to make a statement!”

All of this points towards a change in attitude for the duo. “We know how tough Dark City Fight Club are,” said Smythe, “We know they are going to come into this match wanting to take our heads off. We plan on coming into that ring and smacking them in the mouth; beating them on at their own game. We have been studying tapes of some of the greatest tag teams of all time, especially The Andersons. We can guarantee you will see smash-mouth wrestling on September 6th and a new and improved set of Lifeguards!
